Ottawa Junk Pickup & Small Moves

By booking or using services provided by Ottawa Junk Pickup & Small Moves, you agree to the following terms.

1. Scope of Services

We provide pickup, delivery, junk removal, dump runs, hauling, and property cleanup services as described at the time of booking. Work is limited to the services agreed upon. Additional work beyond the agreed scope may result in added charges.

2. Access & Site Conditions

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to items and the work area. This includes:
• Clear walkways and entry points
• Adequate lighting
• Safe surfaces and structural integrity
• Legal and safe parking for our truck and trailer

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe.

3. Prohibited Items

We do not transport, remove, or handle hazardous or restricted materials including but not limited to:
• Chemicals, fuels, solvents, and paints
• Asbestos or contaminated materials
• Biohazard or medical waste
• Explosives or firearms
• Illegal or controlled substances

4. Pricing & Charges

Service pricing is based on time, load size, distance, weight, and job complexity. Additional charges may apply for:
• Extra time beyond included service limits
• Stairs, long carry distances, or difficult access
• Oversized or unusually heavy items
• Disposal fees or weight surcharges
• Specialized handling

All additional costs will be communicated whenever possible before proceeding.

5. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept approved payment methods as listed at the time of booking. Late payments may result in service fees.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Missed appointments or no-shows may also incur charges.

7. Liability

We carry commercial cargo and general liability insurance. However, we are not responsible for:
• Pre-existing damage to property or items
• Damage caused by unsafe or unstable conditions
• Items not properly packed or disclosed
• Hidden, fragile, or structural weaknesses
• Items left unattended by the customer

Customers must report any concerns within 24 hours of service completion.

8. Disposal & Donations

Items taken for donation may not be accepted by donation centers. We are not responsible for the outcome of donated items.

9. Site Cleanup Services

Site cleanup is a labor-based service. Disposal, demolition, hazardous material handling, or specialty cleaning are not included unless agreed separately.

10. SMS & Communication Consent

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive service-related SMS messages from Ottawa Junk Pickup & Small Moves. Messages may include booking confirmations, reminders, updates, and follow-ups.

We do not send promotional spam or sell phone numbers.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
