Why We Started

Before purchasing our truck, we experienced the same frustration many people throughout Ottawa face: sometimes you simply need something picked up, moved, delivered, or taken away, and finding a reliable, reasonably priced service isn't always easy.

Like many households, we relied on a car for our day-to-day needs. That worked fine until it didn't. Buying furniture or appliances from Facebook Marketplace, picking up larger purchases from local stores, or getting rid of unwanted household items quickly became a challenge. Things wouldn't fit, borrowing a truck wasn't always an option, and many traditional moving and junk removal companies were structured and priced for much larger jobs.

With more than four years of experience in the moving and delivery industry, including hands-on experience with loading, securing, transporting, and safely handling a wide range of items, we knew there was a better way to provide these services.

That's why we started Ottawa Junk Pickup & Small Moves.

What began as a solution for smaller pickups and deliveries has grown into a full range of practical local services, including junk removal, residential moving, furniture and appliance delivery, donation drop-offs, dump runs, light hauling, and property cleanouts.
